Peace
Corps Zambia wishes to invite applications from suitably qualified persons to
fill the under listed positions, these are fixed short term contracts over a
two year period (Base + 3 options) September – December 2018; March – May 2019;
August – November 2019 and March – May 2020.
In
order to be selected for these positions, the applicant must be a Zambian
Citizen, must not have been employed in intelligence-related activities, and
must submit an application that clearly documents how they meet each of the
following mandatory requirements. Applicants may apply for more than one
position.
SHORT-TERM
LANGUAGE & CROSS CULTURE FACILITATOR
Location:
Chipembi or Chongwe
Daily Rate: On/around ZMW 467.00/Day
Estimated Days: 90 days/period with a maximum of four periods
Work Week: Full-Time; 6 days/week
BASIC
FUNCTION
The
short-term Language and Cross-Culture Facilitator (LCF) will prepare all
relevant facilitation and learning materials in addition to facilitating
language and culture sessions, and provide an oral report to the Language
Coordinator after each language session on each Trainee’s performance;
integrate technical vocabulary and culture into language sessions; and conduct
language assessments, simulations and Language Proficiency Interviews (LPI).
