The Nation pension scheme Authority (NAPSA) wishes to
recruit for the positions of legal Manger-
Regulator and Enforcement and Real Estates Officer be based at head Office. Interested applications who meet the

expected to have demonstrable competencies relevant to the respective job and

1.1 Main Purpose of
Job
Real Estate officer’s responsibilities is to conduct
property appraisals, co-ordinate maintenance of service providers, contractors
including property managers- appraisals, and do property management work which
entail sales, property acquisition, property lease, and tenant installations.
1.2 Key Responsibilities
. Appraise all the NASPA properties that are for sale or
lease, and those that are to be acquired, to ensure the processes followed in
the transaction are compliant with the relevant laws and regulations
. To co-ordinate and ensure timely collection of rentals,
receive monthly return reports from property managers, prepare monthly reports
on rentals collected and ensures demand notices to all tents are timely sent in
line with the debt policy
. In liaison with legal, ensure that all the NAPSA land
titles and title reports are in order and are legally acquired and are ready to
be handed over to purchasers
. Prepare operational reports the NAPSA real estate
activities to ensure appropriate strategies are developed and implemented to
address any gaps in real estate management identified
. Attend to tenants’ complaints, reported defects and
maintenance queries, conflicts resolutions in liaison with head-Real estate to
ensure tenant service delivery and tenant satisfaction
. Coordinate the maintenance of all NAPSA properties,
preparation of schedule of defects, bills of quantities for measured works,
planned preventive maintenance and preparing dilapidation schedules to ensure
properties are in good condition at all times
. Make field/ site visits to conduct physical checks of any
gaps/challenges in the management of real estate to ensure to ensure tenant
service delivery and tenant satisfaction.
. Co-ordinate the supervision of service providers,
contractors including property managers in liaison with purchasing to ensure
timely preparation of purchase orders, drawing up terms of reference for contractors
and service providers.
1.3 Qualifications
and Experience
. Grade 12 certificate with 5 ‘O’ levels with credit or
better including English and Mathematics
. Degree in real Estates, project Management, Finance,
Property/facilities Management Quantity surveying or related field;
. Not less than seven years of experience in legal practice
at a management level in an organization of similar size or reputable law firm
and with similar scope in legal complexity
