Ipsos
Limited is a fully-fledged research company and has been operational in the
Zambian market for over 15 years now. Ipsos offers social research, market
research and media monitoring services among other research services. We are
located along Central Street, Chudleigh, off Great East Road in Lusaka.
We are
currently recruiting experienced data collectors that are based in the
following regions.
1. Eastern –
Petauke, Katete and Chipata
Interviews
and training will be in Chipata
2. Southern
Province – Livingstone and Mazabuka
Interviews
and training will be in Livingstone
3.
Copperbelt – Kalulushi, Mufulira, Kitwe and Ndola
Interviews
and training will be in Ndola
The Data Collectors will be required
to:
·
Have
traceable field research experience
·
Become
fully familiar with the survey instrument (questionnaire);
·
Participate
in the sampling process to select respondents in the selected survey areas;
·
Collect
field data from the selected respondents and enter the collected data into a
software using a tablet/phone.
·
Collaborate
with other fieldworkers and field supervisors.
·
Be
in the field until data collection is completed.
·
Be
willing to work long hours, including evenings, weekends and as required for a
short period of time.
Qualifications and skills
·
A
minimum of a grade 12 certificate; a higher qualification will be an added
advantage.
·
Ability
to interview (read and speak) in the local language in the province in which
the interviewer prefers to work;
·
Participated
in a similar survey preferably a survey using electronic data capture (such as
phones/tablets);
·
Ability
to follow written instructions and read maps.
·
A
smart Phone with the following minimum specs (Ram 1 GB, Android 6.x+, 1.2 GHz
Dual Core+ and 8 GB internal storage) is a must requirement.
Selected
candidates will be invited to sit for an aptitude test and only candidates who
pass the test will be enrolled for a 1-day training before the field work
