Expanded Church Response (ECR) is
a faith-based organization implementing OVC, GBV, HIV/AIDS, and other programs
to mitigate human suffering and bring transformational development. ECR has
implemented programs funded by USAID, European Union, UNICEF, and Global Fund
either directly or through a number of highly regarded local and international
organizations. Working with partners like these, the private sector, faith
leaders, traditional leaders, and government, we are seeing communities
awakened to new ways to improve quality of life for the most vulnerable and
strengthened to become the force to forge their own transformation.
ECR is seeking qualified,
self-driven, efficient, and innovative candidates with a passion for awakening
potential in others, to fill in the following position:
M & E Specialist
Reporting to the M&E Manager,
the M&E Specialist will be based in Ndola. S(he) will be responsible
for monitoring, evaluation and reporting of activities under the ZAMFAM Project
in Copperbelt province and Solwezi District. S(he) will be responsible for the
application of M&E frameworks, performance-based result and process
indicators, measurement methods, and periodic reviews to identify factors that
facilitate or impede the ZAMFAM project progress. S(he) will support the
maintenance of existing systems to collect and analyze information on inputs,
outputs, outcomes and impact of the program. S(he) will provide support to
sub-grantees on the use of data and indicators; analyze monthly/quarterly data,
and support training of Data Assistants / M&E personnel in quality
assurance and improvement methods.
Requirements
A first degree in Social
Sciences; Experience working with USAID projects; At least 3 Years’ experience
in the M&E field working with sub partners at community and regional
levels; supervisory experience; good problem solving, decision making and
communication skills; Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
