VACANCY: MIS Lead
JOB LEVEL: Assistant Manager
LOCATION: Lusaka
JOB PURPOSE:
Custodian of entire Sales and Distribution data and
maintaining regularly updated data by zones. Provide sales analysis reports to
Head of Distribution and S & D director.
REPORTING TO THE HEAD OF DISTIBUTION, THE MAIN
RESPONSIBILITIES ARE:
1.
Performance Management
All Zonal related MIS sharing in a proper frequency to
be given
Any cross functional support required by Zonal teams
would be taken up and coordinated by the MIS team.
Opex control and governance of processes.
Complete S&D business analytics would be provided
for enabling timely and accurate decision making.
Track and ensure that all business continuity plans
are in place.
Ensure MIS team resolves issues faced by sales staff,
distributors and franchise partners in a timely manner.
Ensure targets are set correctly and on time for all
zones and communicated to all stakeholders by the 1st of every month.
Ensure trade related activities which are expected to
lead to achievement of targets are properly tracked.
2.
Reporting
Ensure MIS team liaise with zonal staff and update
information for timely and correct reports.
Monitor execution progress against plans for any zonal
initiative.
Ensure daily/weekly/monthly reports are circulated to
zones and senior management.
Ensure correctly and timely payments of all channel
partners are done according to set SLA.
Ensure all required analysis and month-end reporting
by EC and group is provided in a timely manner.
3.
Cost Management
Responsible for the Opex management and maintain close
track of S&D costs.
Close monitoring of all processes to maintain costs
through business excellence.
4. Employee Management – People management &
Development
Manage, Train, coach and develop zonal MIS team.
To ensure effective sales teams by managing the zonal
MIS who manage the zonal data.
Ensure all performance issues for the team are raised
and managed in an effective and professional manner.
Take responsibility for personal and professional
development.
Maintain good and effective working relationships with
cross functional teams.
Ensure appraisals are completed when required for the
team.
REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Bachelor’s degree in business related discipline.
3+ years of proven successful years of sales analysis.
Exposure to the Telecommunications Industry or FMCG
environment.
Strong Analytical skills & MS Excel proficiency.
