CALL FOR CONSULTANCY
To review the five year Wildlife Program Plan
and ensure it captures WWF Zambia wildlife program ambitions at both national
and landscape.

Purpose of the Assignment
The purpose of this assignment is to
review the current draft five year Wildlife Program Plan that was finalised in
June 2018 and ensure that it captures WWF Zambia wildlife program ambitions at
both national and landscape, it strengthen innovative approaches to wildlife
conservation in Zambia and conforms to WWF standards, clearly defining the five
year deliverables against a well-articulated theory of change and log frame.. This document will be used to guide development
and nurturing of our strategic wildlife conservation partnerships, programmes,
fundraising and internal capacity development and communication. A wildlife
programme strategy document was developed in the first half of 2018 which is
designed to contribute towards ensuring that “Critical wildlife habitats in
focal landscapes support viable, stable and/or increasing populations of
Zambia’s priority speciesâ€
Duration of the Assignment: Estimated
30 days spread over the period October2018 to 15 February 2019Consultants Profile required
§ Minimum
5 years of demonstrated experience in strategic plans development and writing –
ideally within strong conservation natural resources management planning.
§ Strong
programme design skills, including capacity to prepare logical, coherent, and
consistent documents including situational analysis, theory of change, results
frameworks, and budgets.
§ Experience
with the global wildlife conservation issues.
§ Ability
to integrate different experiences, methodologies, and approaches from a
diverse range of stakeholders, organizations, and technical experts from
multiple sectors.
