non-political organisation advancing the cause of sexual and reproductive
health in Zambia. It is a Member Association of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF).

informed reproductive health choices. We dedicate ourselves to the provision of
high quality and sustainable youth-focused sexual and reproductive health
services. PPAZ being a member of IPPF will also be implementing the WISH2ACTION
project locally.

ABOUT WISH2ACTION PROJECT
Women’s
Integrated Sexual Health (WISH) is a multi-country programme which aims to
improve access to Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) for women
and girls in areas of highest unmet need. WISH is split into two separate Lots
– Lot 1, focused in West Africa and implemented by a consortium led by MSI, and
Lot 2, called ‘WISH2ACTION’ focused in East and Southern Africa and Asia and
implemented by a consortium led by the International Planned Parenthood
Federation (IPPF) with MSI as a key implementing partners.
The Project
Team will contribute to the fulfilment of IPPF mission in the area of SRHRs and
to fulfil this vision competent staff are required to in the following
positions:
MONITORING AND EVALUATION ASSISTANTS (4 POSITIONS)
JOB PURPOSE
The Monitoring
& Evaluation Assistant role reports directly to the Monitoring &
Evaluation Manager. The responsibilities listed below are inclusive, but not
exhaustive, of the role. It is reasonable to assume that additional tasks will
be requested, as and when needed. This role will be appraised by the Monitoring
& Evaluation Manager. Every effort should be made by the position holder to
record achievements throughout the year in order to document appropriately, as
supporting evidence, using WISH2ACTION Programme form.
KEY TASKS
§
Consolidating
and sorting received documents and identifying forms that need to be processed.
§
Ensuring
accuracy of entered data and comparing it with the existing scheduling system
to make sure all records are consistent and aligned.
§
Support in the
review and checking of data generated being in line with the M&E reporting
requirements.
§
Support the
analysis of data in line with the M&E framework.
§
Assist with
guidance and support to Operations in the development and implementation of
monitoring tools, which will include, but not be limited to, data collection,
analysis and reporting on program indicators.
§
Participate in
the training of field staff in monitoring of activities (process) based on
indicators and targets set out in the relevant Work plan.
§
Support the
coordination and execution of events in the department such as, training,
collecting and disseminating relevant information on monitoring, evaluation and
research.
§
Develop the
overall framework for monitoring and evaluation including regular project
reviews, Performance Monitoring Plans (PMPs) and participatory impact
assessments.
§
Help in
identifying key performance questions and parameters for monitoring project
performance, while designing the format for such performance reports.
§
Review
monitoring reports and status and completion reports prepared by
project/programme implementers to be submitted to management for action on
challenges encountered in project implementation.
§
Support in
preparing weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual programmatic
performance reports.
QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
§
Grade 12 with 5
‘O’ levels
§
BA Demography
or any other relevant social science with three (3) years related work
experience.
§
Advanced
Diploma in M&E or equivalent with 6 years’ work related experience.
