The Company seeks the services of a Project planner
Job Purpose:
To develop and manage short term projects as approved for
execution through the Application for Expenditure (AFE) process and manage
adhoc schedules required by the operations teams.
Primary/ Key
Responsibilities
1. Develop and Manage short term projects and adhoc
schedules as required
2. Complete weekly and monthly projects progress reports
according to the set requirements
3. Guiding and training of MCM employees that are
responsible for executing and managing projects
4. Build relationships with fellow MCM employees to
influence change
5. Forecast on revised action plans formulating corrective
actions in conjunction with the project teams
6. Forecast on revised completion dates and cashflows as per
approved schedule
7. Enforce and comply with the electronic Capital system
(which include Orbfusion and Microsoft Projects Server)
8. Compliance with MCM Capital Asset and Project Management
System (POL 019)
9. Attend relevant operations meetings
10. Assist the project office and Capital Finance where
necessary
To be considered, you must have:
1. Minimum Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying or
equivalent in relevant discipline
2. Minimum of three [03] year’s work experience, preferably
work experience in Mining processing environment
3. Excellent networking, people and computer skills
especially the Microsoft office package
Key to the success of this portfolio is the incumbent’s
ability to work on his/her own initiative, paying particular attention to
company polices and corporate objectives.
