QUALIFICATIONS
AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum
Required Qualifications and Experience:
§
Bachelor’s
in accounting or its equivalent
§
3
years’ experience as an Accountant.
§
Member
of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA)
Desirable
Qualifications and Experience:
§
Appropriate
financial accounting qualification,
§
Computer
literacy, working knowledge of Sage Evolution
§
5
years’ experience as an Accountant

KEY
PERFORMANCE AREAS
§
Adhere
to pre-set deadlines for the department
§
Prepare
reconciliation of accounts for all grants
§
To
manage Finance Officer(s) as direct reports and ensure they meet their performance
objectives
§
Review
the creditors age analysis and ensure that creditors are paid timeously
§
Review
the debtors age analysis and ensure that liquidations are posted into the
system timeously
§
Review
policies and procedures for finance department and recommend necessary changes
to the Senior Finance Manager
§
Ensure
third party payments (NAPSA, Zambia Revenue Authority etc) are made timeously
and reconciled monthly.
§
Go
through all Company GL reports to ensure that the allocations are correct
§
Document
of Financial and the corresponding Financial Administrative processes.
