Kwacha
Pension Trust Fund (KPTF) is a single employer defined benefit pension fund.
The Fund seeks a highly skilled and motivated professional to be part of a
dynamic team and fill the position of Information Communication and Technology
(ICT) Officer to be based in Lusaka.
Reporting
to the Finance and Administration Manager, the ICT Officer will have the
following key responsibilities:
§
Provide
specialist advise to Management on ICT Policy issues;
§
Recommends
specifications of ICT infrastructure in line with the Fund strategy;
§
Responsible
for maintaining schedules for the database and ICT equipment;
§
Responsible
for setting up and providing help desk services to Fund users;
§
Responsible
for website operations;
§
Monitors
systems integrity to ensure continuous access by user departments to the Fund’s
ICT systems and networks;
§
Ensure
disaster recovery plan is operational at all times;
§
Provide
monthly report on the operations of the unit; and
§
Enhanced
skills of software engineering and database programming.
Qualifications
§
School
Certificate
§
Degree
in ICT
§
Minimum
5 years in a busy IT environment
§
Should
be Conversant with Comp_en and Sun systems among other programs;
§
Experience
in the pension fund industry is an added advantage
